Product Development
Case Studies of Research, Color, Item and Print Direction
Product development is the process of turning research into a coherent commercial direction. These case studies show how I move from inspiration and market signals through color, fabrication, print, silhouette, and item planning to build a focused seasonal story.
My product-development background includes high-volume mass-market programs, with individual Walmart direct-import buys commonly beginning around 35,000 units. Working at that scale shaped how I think about color, production clarity, repeatability, and commercial decision-making. It also reinforced something fundamental to my approach: good design should connect with people and serve their everyday lives. For me, designing at scale is about making thoughtful, useful, and appealing products accessible to an inclusive audience.
All boards are brand-referenced directional studies. Textile artwork and print development by Abi Post. Product and interior images are digital mockups used to demonstrate scale, color, and application.
